TOP COW'S MATT HAWKINS ON LATE BOOKS, AND PAYING UP

Late books.

Just reading those two words makes you cringe a little, huh?

If only comic book publishers would do something about it, right? Top Cow – one of the perceived “worst offenders” in the industry is taking a step that will do something about it, namely hit them in their bottom line. Beginning in 2008, for every late book they ship, Top Cow will donate $500 to the Hero Initiative. If the books all ship on time in a given month, the publisher will contribute $1000 for that month to the charity.
