The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision: Mandeville, Top Cow to Adapt Silvestri's 'Crosshair'

Top Cow comic "Crosshair" has been targeted for feature film treatment.

Mandeville Films partners David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman, best known for producing the romantic comedy "The Proposal," have teamed up with Top Cow to produce "Crosshair." The duo also has comic book adaptations "Earp: Saint for Sinners" and "Alibi" in the works.

Mandeville execs, in Comic-Con for the unveiling of Radical Publishing’s "Earp," closed the deal over the weekend after furious negotiations.

THR and IndieWire Report Top Cow President Heading to SXSW

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter and IndieWire, Top Cow President Matt Hawkins, along with writer-directors Quentin Tarantino, Michael Gondry and David Gordon Green, will be heading to the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Conference and Festival.

SXSW runs March 12-20, 2010 in Austin, Texas.

Director Ryuhei Kitamura and writer Holly Brix are attached tol "Magdalena," a film developed around the Top Cow Prods.' comics character.

Magdalena, a descendant of Mary Magdalene, is a protector of the Catholic Church.
