Review of Witchblade Anime Vol 3 and 4

Witchblade may advertise itself as a show about a hot, semi-naked chick who regularly kicks ass every which way. In fact, though, it's at its best when dealing with the human elements, especially the aforementioned Masane and her relationship with her daughter, Rihoko. But the butt-kicking-hot-chick–seeking audience must be placated as well. The third volume of Witchblade is a bit lighter on fights than one might want, and even the drama goes on a bit of a holiday, but in the fourth volume the series returns to form.
