The first two volumes of “Freshmen,” co-created by Hugh Sterbakov and Seth Green and written by Sterbakov, covered the first year in the lives of average college students who just happened to be in a lab when a mad scientist’s experiments went horribly awry, giving them strange powers and abilities.
