Sara and Dani, the two bearers of the Witchblade, used to be as close as sisters. However, a deep rift has fractured their friendship, perhaps irreparably. This wouldn’t be so serious if not for the fact that the Witchblade is needed to keep the balance between the Darkness and the Angelus. It seems that Sara is being possessed, or at least influenced, by the dark side of the Witchblade, because she’s been going bitchcakes in the last couple of issues. Meanwhile, inspired by the light side, Dani is working with the mysterious Curator to put a stop to the upset in balance at any cost. Things are going to get ugly.
