After reading this issue, it’s pretty clear why the Velocity character can survive changing creators’ hands. Even though most of Cyberforce have been getting one-shots during Pilot Season, Velocity stands out from the rest because of the character’s flexibility. Her power is fun and exciting, and her personality is the same. Unlike the rest of Cyberforce, whose powers are really serious and can really only be used to kill, Velocity’s powers have so many applications. She’s also young and lively, so young readers can easily relate to her.
